Barbara Walters Injured in Washington, D.C.
Barbara Walters was injured on Saturday, January 19th, while in Washington, D.C. to report on the second Inauguration of President Barack Obama. While there, "The View" host visited the British Ambassador's residence, where she accidentally fell down the stairs, cutting her forehead. She was taken to a local hospital.US Weekly states: "'Out of an abundance of caution, she went to the hospital to have her cut tended to, have a full examination and remains there for observation,' ABC News senior vice president Jeffrey W. Schneider told Politico, which was the first to report the injury. 'Barbara is alert (and telling everyone what to do), which we all take as a very positive sign.'"
We hope Barbara, a famous reporter, recovers soon!
