Beyonce Opens Up About Daugther, Blue Ivy

Beyonce Knowles recently sat down with Vogue for a revealing article for the March issue about her career, marriage, and most importantly, her daughter. The "Crazy in Love" singer and her husband, Jay-Z, a hip hop singer and mogul, had Blue Ivy last January; the tot just celebrated her first birthday.

Although Beyonce is a worldwide known superstar who has more than 17 Grammy awards and multi-platinum selling albums, she has simple dreams for her daughter, just like most mothers.

“At some point it’s very important to me that my daughter is able to experience life and run through the sprinklers and have slumber parties and trust and live and do all the things that any child should be able to do,” Knowles says.

"School visits and lemonade stands and all that stuff. It’s very important for me," the singer continued.

Beyonce obviously cherishes her daughter, describing her as her "road dog. She's my homey, my best friend."
