"Boy Meets World" Daughter Cast

Who can forget the teenage love of Cory and Topanga on the 90's sitcom "Boy Meets World?" Fans of the show will be excited to hear that a spin-off, called "Girl Meets World," is in the works by the Disney Channel. Both of the original actors, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel are returning, as well as one fresh new face. Thirteen-year-old actress and singer, Rowan Blanchard, has been tapped to play the couple's daughter, Riley Matthews, after acting auditions, reports Entertainment Weekly.

"Girl Meets World" producer, Michael Jacobs, says: “As soon as Rowan walked into the room, I was reminded of why Ben Savage was loved as Cory Matthews. Rowan is real and accessible and I am hopeful this girl is about to meet a world that will love growing up with her as well.”

Blanchard has starred in films such as "The Back-up Plan" and "Spy Kids: All the Time in World in 4D."
